Swachh Bharat Abhiyan or the clean India mission is the Mission that has been started by the Indian Government and the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and it is the campaign that is to create awareness about the cleanliness in India.
As India is a well developed country as compared to the other countries but it lacks in the cleanliness of the country as from the past there are many smaller towns and streets of India are uncleaned and because of this it lacks in the development of the country and to look upon this challenge the Prime Minister of Indian country Narendra Modi has created this awareness of clean India and to be swachh Bharat Abhiyan that is being started to clean the smaller towns and the rural areas which are not clean.
And after Narendra Modi becoming Prime Minister he announced this swachh Bharat Abhiyan with a slogan of one step towards cleanliness on 2nd October 2014 and this awareness or Swachh Bharat Abhiyan that he has been started is been continuing from then onwards and it is been followed by the people now also.
The aim of this campaign
The clean India mission of the swachh Bharat Abhiyan that has been organized and the aim of this campaign is to clean all the streets and towns of Indian country and it is been started to create awareness of cleanliness among the people and it gives a great message to the people as they should start cleanliness from their house as well so by this by keeping their house clean they would be able to keep their surroundings clean. After the cleanliness mission that has been organized this campaign is also been focusing on the problem of open defecation that people do and it is also solving and many toilets are been made for the people.
This campaign is also being supported by many people and about 90 million toilets are been constructed by our Prime Minister and about 2 lakh crore Rupees are being invested in this project for Clean India and Swachh India. The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi is a great follower of Mahatma Gandhi and Mahatma Gandhi was a great freedom fighter and he has started this campaign of cleanliness India in the year 1930 as he used to call it Champaran Satyagraha and by going on his reference Narendra Modi has been doing this campaign to keep our India clean.
Work of this campaign
After this campaign has been organized in the year 2014 many cities supported this and started to clean the cities and in 2017 there was a swachh Sarvesh a survey that has been conducted and about more than 500 cities are being cleaned.
The people that are being elected in this campaign are also been supporting it and promoting it by all the ways and also the Indian government is also been taking care of the people as they have been organized many doors to door garbage collection vans and there are also many methods that are being undertaken by the government to keep their country clean and also to solve the problem of open defecation and by this the problem of unclean India and the toilet problem could get easily solve in the future of India and the Indian country would be a developed country in all the ways.
