The Union Public Service Commission or UPSC is India’s premium Central agency which is responsible for appointments and the examination for all the Indian services and the group of Central services as it is the department of personnel Training Centre agency in India.
This Union Public Service Commission is formed in the year 1926 on 1 October. The headquarters of this commission is in New Delhi and its function by the Arvind Saxena who is the Chairman of UPSC.
The establishment of this Commission UPSC is at the time when India was under the rule of Britishers and it is proposed for the Public Commission service and this Commission proposed that there should be 40% of entrance should be Britishers and there would be 40% Indians directly recruited and 20% Indians promoted to the provincial services and because of this it led to the establishment of this Union Public Service Commission.

A career and exams in UPSC
As this UPSC is a government service there are many services that give the opportunity to the individual to work in Indian Administrative Services IAS the other is Indian police services IPS and the last is the Indian Foreign Services IFS, and these are civil services.

Qualifications for attending UPSC
To qualify for these entrance exam, there should be proper examination detail like a degree from the recognized University is much to attend is civil services examination.
This entrance exam mostly consists of three stages in the first stage the entrance is of preliminary exam and second type is Mains and when the individual passes both of this exam he has to give a personal interview test and the age limit for general category is 32 years and individual can only attempt 6 times for an examination.
But the candidate who is in the category of caste can attend many times, and he has no age limit, and these are the qualifications for attending an examination in UPSC.
