Introduction  

Constitution of India is a set of fundamental rules which are written down in a document.

The rules written in the constitution are necessary to be followed by the government while ruling India. Not only the government has to follow the constitution but also the people of the country has to follow the rules of the constitution.

A constitution behaves like and system which establishes rule and principles for governing the country. The constitution is also known as codified rules in a written document.

A constitution also guarantees many rights to the people of India. A constitution is found in any organization they are mostly found in government at Super National, National, sub-national. A constitution is also found in political groups such as political parties and unions.

Types Of Constitution 

There are four types of the constitution they are codified constitution, uncodified constitution, flexible constitution, and inflexible constitution.

A codified constitution the constitution which is provided within a single written document there are three types of codified constitution they are authoritative constitution in which the rules are set by the political institutions, then entrenched in which the codified constitution is known  as entrenched because it is very difficult to amend and abolish, and then comes judiciable in which it allows other laws to be judged against it and this action is performed by the judiciary. And the uncodified constitution is a type of constitution where the fundamental rules are not written in a document rather it takes in the form of customs and a variety of Statues and legal instrument.

A flexible constitution is a constitution in which the changes are not readily amended. A flexible constitution is a constitution in which the changes are readily amended by the general legislation the flexible constitution are commonly used in the Republic countries and democratic countries.

Structure  

The constitution of India is divided into three parts the first part is the Preamble, it is an introduction part of the constitution and contains the statements of the principles.

The second part of the Constitution contains articles, there are in total seven articles, and each article defines each legislative branch the branches are the legislative branch, the executive branch, the judicial branch, the state powers, amendment process, Supreme law of the land, ratification, and declaration of the constitution. The amendments there are in total 33 amendments.

Constitution Of India  

The constitution of India is also known as Bharat Samvidhan which was declared on 26th November 1949 and it was adopted by the constituent assembly of India on the date of 26 January 1950.

The constitution of India is the supreme law to govern the country of India. The constitution works as a Framework for defining fundamental principles and also fundamental procedures and powers, and it also helps in setting the duties of government institutions.

It also helps in implementing the fundamental rights for the development of the country. The constitution of India is the longest written constitution which consists of approximately 145,000 words of the sovereign country in the world, and it was written by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar who was the chairman of the drafting committee. The constitution of India has in total of 395 articles which are divided into 22 parts and eight schedules.
