On the land of Rameshwaram, on 15th of October,1931 at Tamil Nadu, Kalam was born. The Abdul Kalam was the son of Ashiamma and Jainulabdeen. Kalam has a total of four siblings, two brothers, and two sisters, and the Kalam was the youngest among them.
The father Of Kalam was the owner of a boat and working as Imam in a local mosque while the mother was a housewife. The family was not financially good so to help in the family income, Abdul Kalam sold the newspaper in his early days.
