Speech On The Pen Is Mightier Than The Sword For Students – Read Here

Good morning to one and all present here I also warmly welcome the chief guest of today occasion. Today I am here to speak a few words based on the topic given to me “Pen is mightier than the sword.”

As we all know that sword is the very strong weapon that can bow the person towards the feet of another person.

However we can see the power of the person physically, we can judge the person by his attire, but cannot enslave the mind of the people.

And same power lies with the pen. Pen even small then the sword but the power is more of the pen because the sword power may be till the person is alive and if the person holding that sword will die than there is no use of it.

Power Of The People And Personality

Our history does not give us enough proof to make us realize that the military glory of Alexander the Great, Napoleon Bonaparte and Hitler, to name a few of the intellectual person.

On the contrary, the teachings and sayings of the great writers, as well as philosophers, are remembered by the people till eternity. It doesn’t die down and has a lasting impact.

Philosophers, writers, poets, and scientists never die, but live in our hearts forever through their exemplary works.

The phrase breaks the illusion of associating progress with the sword and affirms that it is the art of writing which finally a great victory and the achievement.

If we go towards the past to the history than we can realize that the great empire cannot be built through the power of the sword.

The great ideas of the philosophers and the intellectuals have been known to smash the aggressiveness of the monarchy in the various part of the world.

People And Personality

A great writer possesses that there should not be any of the grand in his or her life if we had achieved good things that we should not say it always.

The history has it that there have been phenomenal writers who not only had a devotional personality but were also great people.

They are as follows, viz. Mahatma Gandhi, Swami Vivekananda, John Keats, Adam Smith, Machiavelli, Plato, Maxim Gorky, Thomas Paine, Marx, Stewart Mill, etc.

Violence Is Not essential

So we should believe in the creative power rather than the violence, and we should encourage the people in every walk of their life as much we can. There is nothing that great work cannot achieve.

If you can express the feeling so, please come forward and share things like a journalist.

Thus, in the end, all I would want to say that the pen is indeed mightier than the sword because what can be achieved through language and idea cannot be achieved through violence and gratitude of the person.

Though the thought of the person is much effective than the violence, besides, peace is what carries great power and breaks all the false idea that is with the thinking of violence and power of terror.

I am thanking you.
